Brazil president Lula confirms Fielzao will be ready for 2014 World Cup

Former Brazil president Lula has confirmed Fielzao, the new Corinthians stadium has announced that the stadium will be completed in time to host Brazil's opening ceremony of the competition in three years' time.

Fielzao is currently under construction and believes it will be ready for the upcoming competition. "The stadium will host the opening of the 2014 World Cup," Lula told Globoesporte. "It was the World Cup that this stadium was developed for."
